Espoo needs more action – less bystanders

Vote for me with number 391

The green-left coalition has long sought, through its political actions, to increase people’s dependence on the state, municipalities, and welfare regions, and unfortunately, they have succeeded in this. It is time to push back. By voting for right-wing candidates, you can influence the size of your own and your neighbor’s wallet. At the same time, we can together begin to shift Finland’s political climate towards a better and healthier direction.

Espoo Municipal Elections 2025

Encouraging Taxation

Working and entrepreneurship must be profitable for everyone. Unemployment decreases when incentives for employment are increased, and benefit traps are reduced. The money people earn belongs to them, not to the municipalities or the state.

Vitality and Urban Planning

Through urban planning and efficient land use, we can promote sustainable and profitable urban development. In particular, zoning for business plots, single-family home plots, and parking spaces must be increased.

Education

We must maintain the high level of early childhood education, basic education, and secondary education already present in Espoo, and increase the offering of English-speaking options. However, schools must be guaranteed the calm environment necessary for learning. Those working in educational institutions must feel that their work is valued.

Well-being of people

The well-being of the inhabitants of Espoo is supported through diverse physical activity and cultural services.

A Counterbalance to the Green-Left

Finland is overly dependent on the public sector. It must be understood that the responsibility of individuals and families in society needs to be increased.

My Strengths

Convincing Communication

I have developed strong communication skills while working with elected officials and public servants. I have learned to articulate my thoughts clearly and convey my message effectively in situations where interaction is key.

Good communication builds bridges and fosters trust – it is the essence of influence.

Solution-oriented

What matters most to me is looking ahead and finding effective solutions. I have developed a solution-oriented mindset that enables me to tackle problems with determination. I can work independently and proactively, but I also recognize the limits of my own expertise.

I believe that even the most challenging situations can be resolved through collaboration and the right attitude.

Responsibility

Taking responsibility has taught me precision and reliability. Every task I have taken on has strengthened my sense of responsibility and commitment to shared goals.

Trust is built through actions, and I am ready to work hard for the benefit of Espoo and its residents.

How I think

Your Money Is Yours

In Finland, there is a harmful habit of taking other people’s money, with the assumption that this is the only right way to operate. I am referring to our income tax rates, which have almost risen to criminal proportions. Many believe that the money an individual earns does not belong to them, but rather to the “all-knowing” and “better-informed” public sector.

I completely disagree. I believe that individuals, for several reasons, should be allowed to keep a larger share of their earned income, while acknowledging the need for some level of taxation.

I support these fundamental principles

Make working more profitable

Individuals must be encouraged to work by allowing them to keep a larger portion of the money they earn.

Freedom to use one’s own money

An individual certainly knows better than the public sector what they want to spend their own money on.

Security and well-being through one’s own work

Individuals can take greater responsibility for their lives and families with their increased wealth.

My Experience and Education

My passion for influencing common matters guides my actions every day. Despite my young age, I have gained extensive experience in responsible positions of trust within the city, church, and various organizations. I am a law student currently pursuing my studies at the University of Helsinki.

My legal studies deepen my understanding of decision-making processes and societal structures.

FAQ

I am involved in municipal politics because I want to influence the situation in my community. I consider the well-being of Espoo residents to be an important issue, and I believe I can make a positive impact. In my opinion, the most effective way to influence community matters is to personally participate in decision-making.

I consider individual responsibility and economic sustainability to be extremely important values. Nowadays, it feels like individuals only have rights but no obligations. I want individuals and families to take greater responsibility for their daily lives. A thriving Espoo would not be possible without economically sustainable policies. The current situation is good, even though the municipality has considerable debt. I believe it is essential to prevent the situation from worsening, and ideally, to improve the economic state.

It is important to bring more jobs from the private sector to Espoo. Through smart urban planning, we can create attractive business zones in the city. Espoo already has developed business hubs, such as Otaniemi, but more can be established. A well-functioning infrastructure ensures that companies can operate daily and develop in the long term. Appealing residential areas are also important as they attract employees.

Public transportation in Espoo is at a good level, but it could be optimized further. Timetables should focus more on peak hours. I believe the most important thing is to support the somewhat neglected private car use. The road network must be kept in good condition, and more free or at least affordable parking spaces should be made available. Espoo residents must have the freedom to choose their mode of transportation.

The most important thing would be to improve community spirit and respect within schools. Everyone must feel they are a valued part of the school community. School staff must also regain the respect and authority they have lost. In the classroom, students should listen to the teacher and follow their instructions and guidance.

  • Do you want your hometown to be growing, developing, and economically sustainable? To achieve this in Finland today, both domestic migration and international immigration to your municipality are needed. However, it is essential to find the best among these newcomers.
